Private or Adult Instruction 

Are you over the age of 18 and looking to take some sailing lessons? Are you under the age of 18 and don't feel like our summer camps or racing programs are the thing for you? Want a little extra attention outside your group sessions? Our private instruction option allows you to choose when to meet with an instructor for a one-on-one session! You can ask to have the lesson geared toward whatever you'd like: racing, learn to sail, technique for a specific boat type etc.

If you would like to schedule private lessons with some of your friends or colleagues we will provide discounted rates for bringing one or two friends along for the lesson. Our rates are listed below.

Ask our staff about the US Sailing Basic Keelboat Certification option offered at WCSC. Purchase a 12-hour lesson package, schedule your lessons and request that they be geared for you to complete the certification requirements. At the end of your lessons, you can schedule a testing time at the sailing center (for an additional $50 test fee). The fee includes, Certification Log Book, one year membership in US Sailing, and access to boat rentals at US Sailing Keelboat Certification Centers across the country.
