SPRING 2012 HIGH SCHOOL SAILING: BENILDE ST. MARGARET'S SAILING TEAM SELECTION

To recap our meeting with the sailors on Thursday- we anticipated having more interest from students than we have space for.  In order to both put together a strong team of competitive sailors AND open opportunities for inexperienced sailors to participate in our awesome sport, we collected "Indication of Intent" forms from all of the interested students.  From this stack, we chose both from an "experienced sailor" pool and pulled randomly from a "newer sailor" pool.  The specifics are described on the blue sheet sent home with your student on Thursday.  The list we came up with is below- along with specifics about registration and our upcoming parent/sailor meeting.

We did have more interested sailors than we could accommodate. Should any of the chosen students not register by the deadline, their spots will be made available to the waitlisted students on Tuesday morning via email.
