Slocum Family Fun Regatta

Join Wayzata Sailing and Wayzata Yacht Club August, 2nd for a free afternoon of fun in the sun on Lake Minnetonka!

Sailing is an amazing way to connect with lakes, and doesn't have to be daunting or expensive. This is the perfect first sail opportunity for adventurers of any age. Grab the whole family and come on down to the lake. We'll provide the captains, boats, loaner lifejackets, and an ice cream treat. Dress for the weather! Expert volunteers from Wayzata Sailing and Wayzata Yacht Club invite you aboard their family friendly racing boats for a one of a kind sail. After an introduction and instruction period, we'll sail around the course and head home for an ice cream treat. Seriously, what else could be better on a summer afternoon?!
